Discharge System Discharge System

The ByWater Break Tank & Discharge System is an all-in-one solution for the provision of fresh water and foul water disposal.
It is ideal for machines where pumps require a constant water feed pressure and where a gravity type foul drain facility cannot be used or is not readily accessible.

Typical types of equipment that this system is used for range from:

  • Washing machines
  • Dish washers
  • Showers
  • Water cutting equipment
  • Wash down areas
  • Many other types of industrial applications

The unit is topped up with fresh water by way of a ball float valve. There is a tell-tale overflow and an AB type water break gap complying with BS EN 13077

This equipment is fitted with a booster pump and a large 24 litre air damped pressure vessel to maintain a constant smooth and stable pressure output.
The booster pump output is controlled by an adjustable pump ‘on’ – ‘off’ pressure set point and a return to tank system as required.

This self-contained unit has an ‘in-built’ foul water collection tank which can be gravity or pump fed.
The foul water tank with its 175 litre capacity has a final settlement area, before the water weirs in to the collection pot where it is pumped to a disposal point. The tank has a drain valve and is easily removed for maintenance and cleaning.

The equipment is easily installed and is fully automatic
